Description

Carro de Leña 12 Meses Tinto, a wine hailing from the prestigious Golden Mile of Ribera del Duero, specifically from Valbuena de Duero. This 100% Tempranillo red wine represents the Castilian-Leonese terroir, crafted with selected grapes from old vines and harvested by hand. Its 12-month aging in French and American oak barrels grants it great aromatic complexity and a captivating, elegant structure.

This wine has been awarded Grand Gold at the 2024 VinoVarietal Competition and a Bronze medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards. In the glass, it displays a deep cherry red color with violet hues. Its bouquet is a symphony of ripe red and black fruit notes, black plum, intertwined with elegant touches of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, licorice, and a subtle background of chocolate and mint provided by its noble aging. On the palate, Carro de Leña is voluminous, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, with refreshing acidity and polished tannins leading to a long and persistent finish. This wine promises to evolve favorably in the bottle, making it a safe investment for your personal cellar or the ideal gift for fine wine lovers.
