Adrets del Priorat Nerinterra 2021
D.O Priorat
Garnacha Tinta Cariñena
Description
Discover the majesty of Priorat through the innovative and precise gaze of the Belondrade family with the exclusive Adrets del Priorat NerinTerra.
This age-worthy red wine represents an authentic revolution in the DOCa Priorat, moving away from heavy extractions to embrace a philosophy of elegance, freshness, and mineral purity. Crafted mainly with Grenache (77%), accompanied by Carignan (18%) and a touch of indigenous varieties (5%), the grapes come from the unique Clos de l'Afaitador, a historic plot located between El Molar and Bellmunt, characterized by its steep llicorella terraces and altitudes ranging between 150 and 400 meters.
This vintage, marked by rains that reduced the yields of the Carignan, has given the Grenache a stellar role, resulting in an exceptionally delicate and fresh aromatic profile. In the winery, vinification is carried out with minimal intervention: spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and a patient aging of 24 months in used 300 and 500-liter French oak barrels. This meticulous process, led by Jean Belondrade, ensures that the wood does not mask the identity of the terroir, achieving perfect integration.
With a very limited production of barely 3,000 bottles and endorsed by 94 Parker points, NerinTerra is an indispensable oenological jewel for collectors and lovers of great estate wines. Its aging potential is extraordinary, promising a fascinating evolution over the next decade. Acquiring Adrets del Priorat NerinTerra is investing in the new golden age of Priorat, where power surrenders to sophistication.
