Salvajes de Gredos Marino Rosado 2023
D.O Madrid
garnacha
Description
Salvajes de Gredos Marino Rosado is a rosé wine from the Sierra de Gredos, crafted under the expertise of Marc Isart and Miguel Santiago within the DO Vinos de Madrid. Sourced from the Majaillas plot, with Garnacha vines over 85 years old rooted in decomposed granite soils at more than 800 meters above sea level, this rosé captures the pure and wild essence of its surroundings. Viticulture is governed by biodynamic principles, respecting the natural cycle of the vine and promoting vineyard biodiversity through the use of animal traction and cover crops. In the winery, minimal intervention is the rule: harvesting is manual, followed by fermentation with indigenous yeasts and 10% whole clusters, providing unparalleled texture and complexity. The result is a vibrant rosé wine, with crisp acidity and deep minerality that faithfully reflects the granitic terroir of Gredos.
