Description
Termes Blanco is Bodega Numanthia’s bold and sophisticated bet on white wines in the prestigious D.O. Toro. Made primarily with the native Malvasía Castellana (85%) and a touch of Verdeja (15%), this white wine breaks all stereotypes, offering a vibrant, fresh sensory experience of unparalleled complexity. The grapes come from pre-phylloxera vineyards over 90 years old, rooted in sandy and loam soils that provide distinctive mineral notes and elegance.
The vintage is characterized by a perfect balance between fruit ripeness and refreshing acidity, the result of marked thermal fluctuations between day and night in the region. In the winery, vinification is carried out with meticulous cold skin maceration, followed by fermentation and aging on its lees in French oak barrels and small stainless steel tanks. This artisanal process gives Termes Blanco an unctuous texture, volume on the palate, and exceptional aging potential.
