Description

Discover the majesty of Convento San Francisco, an authentic oenological jewel from the heart of the prestigious Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin.

This aged red wine represents the maximum expression of the Tempranillo (Tinto Fino) grape, cultivated in centenarian vineyards that rise more than 900 meters above sea level. This vintage, historically rated as 'Excellent' in the region, provided unbeatable weather conditions that allowed for perfect phenolic maturation, providing this wine with extraordinary structure and aging potential.

In the winery, the philosophy of minimal intervention and absolute respect for the terroir translate into meticulous vinification. After a manual harvest in small crates and a rigorous double selection table, the must ferments at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, the wine rests for 16 months in a careful selection of French and American oak barrels, where it acquires its unmistakable aromatic complexity and velvety texture. Today, after years of refinement in the bottle in the winery's underground cellars, Convento San Francisco is at its optimum moment for consumption.

It is a wine that pays tribute to the winemaking tradition of Peñafiel, combining the characteristic power of Ribera del Duero with an elegance and finesse worthy of the world's great wines. Ideal for collectors, luxury wine lovers, and those looking for a unique sensory experience. Its mature profile, full of tertiary nuances such as leather, pipe tobacco, and truffle, makes it the perfect companion for haute cuisine, elevating any evening to the category of memorable. Acquiring this bottle means taking home a piece of Spain's liquid history.
